What happened, Sil?

I imagine it has to do with the recent game changes. Many of them are quite progressive.

The Client and the interactions with newly awakened.

You're going to have to be a bit more specific. Some things can be worked around, some not. Windowed mode, for example, still has a "fullscreen" alternative.

The new talk bar doesn't. I'm not saying we can't bring the classic talk dialog back, I'm just saying right now it doesn't exist. And if we do bring it back I won't maintain that code; that is, while I anticipate we will actively add new slash commands and enhance the new talk bar as we go, the old talk dialog will not change or be updated in any way.

Finally, we did have this patch testable for a month and a video with the changes and a list of every change in the PTR forum. Where was everyone?

I didn't get into the PTR myself (I tried to update twice to get the client, but with my internet the way its been... that wasn't working very well), so I've been avoiding comment about anything unless there seems to be a bug. I would perhaps suggest that the Chat automatically disengages after you say something, that would be my only "Negative" feedback on it.

Otherwise, what I've seen is functional and I do like the potential of the "slash command". The game also seems a Little more stable, at least for me. Though its a bit early to say that for sure

Yeah, like I mentioned in another post: I had it retain focus after sending because that made sense to me, but that was a design choice and I'm happy to change it if most people would prefer it the other way.

I read that, and thank you for that, Mac. That would be my personal suggestion for it (It just makes using arts, or doing anything in combat, or while hunting, really awkward). Other than that one thing however, Nicely done to all the devs from me at least :)
