Concerning Crests, The Shadow, and the Ethereal Temple

Black-Lotus, a disciple of the Source, guided by Sleep and the Shadow, extends shadowed blessings and peace to the faithful Ethereals in Bashir and Harmate, from the Keepers of Eternal Shadow.

Through quiet contemplation and by attuning ourselves to the whispers of the Source, we have been led to declare the following treaty, which will ensure our strongholds remain close, united, and strong in our own sovereignty.

Until further notice, we believe it is in our mutual interest to refrain from re-cresting each other's members within two months of bearing the crests of the opposite House. As we both emphasize the importance of dedication to our respective faiths, it is crucial that we foster a culture that encourages seeing missions and service through to completion.

We are all aware that novelty and the unknown can be tempting, leading some to seek brighter horizons, but in reality, this weakens the resolve of both strongholds and the dreamers themselves. Let us take a proactive stance to prevent this from becoming a future issue needing resolution.

In cases where either stronghold believes it would benefit both our faiths and causes, let us convene and discuss the merits of the case before taking action. Once signed, any necessary amendments can also be addressed in the halls of Chimeric, where such deeds have been carried out for eras past.
