My Laptop gets hot while playing Underlight

Post by CharlesWolff »

Hello Friends, since few days I am encountering a problem with my laptop.

I am a huge fan of Underlight. Most of the time I spent playing underlight on my laptop. But I am noticing a problem recently that my laptop gets heated up whenever I plug it into the charger while gaming.

Recently I have also updated Windows. I am utterly confused whether the problem got triggered after initiating Windows update or playing the game. Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Charles,

What's your laptop Make / Model?

Sometimes there are updates from the manufacturer, very easy with certain brands such as HP, Dell & Lenovo because they have a tool to check for updates.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hello Craig, thank you for reverting back.

This is my Dell laptop,
Confi. - Ram 6 GB
Core i3 7th Gen.
OS- Windows 10

Recently I just updated my Windows to the latest version. However when i check online it says that this happens due to dirt accumulation in the CPU fans. Anyway I will have to get the fan checked. Before I do that I found these software workarounds for the problem here in this post. Do you think these might work?
