I'd love to see it as a minor personally (Though I feel the same about most arts in the game), but could understand why it would be a major.
Base Reduction, I'd suggest 8%... increase it by a variable 1-2% per plateau (Pending testing). So, say 40 plat it would give you a 12 to 16 absorption. Or maybe just go full variable between 1 and 16 in that case.
Sphere learnable, I want to say either 2nd sphere, or 5th. Depending on if its a minor (2nd sphere, 4th sphere cross focus) or a major (5th sphere).
