Moving the Shamblix in lost caves to Teng's Treasure horde or some place else sphere restricted I agree with, but I like them being all over the place.

Chamele was mostly pointless before, and this makes it more useful. It is a major art after all, learned the same sphere that Gatekeepers learn Ward; it shouldn't be useless. How many people actually carried a Chamele alteror with them before?

It's unlikely that a newly awakened is going to accidentally make it through the maze in threshcaves and run into the horron past it. By the time they are 1st sphere, they should have been warned about the shamblixs/horrons in the outer planes and the Citadel.

Lesser-sphered dreamers have Threshold Pits and the 8 inner ring planes to venture and hunt. The outer ring, like Lost Caves, should actually be sphere-restricted. Threshold Caves was always meant to be more dangerous for dreamers to go, and it's always had a Horron there.

The Citadel did not have mares previously, but it turns out there have been mare gens there all along, just not turned on. We turned them on. Travelling to The Citadel to work on improving your arts? A bit more treacherous now. The Unknown is also crawling with mares.

This surge of mares is part of a larger RP, which is why there are also mares at every house entrance. The City is not a safe place to be right now. Dreamers straying from the main paths and away from sanctuaries are going to find trouble. We want to encourage players to travel in groups and help teach the newly awakened how to recognize safe areas, and areas to keep out.

As far as Chamele goes, please don't forget that the more powerful the mare, the more likely they are able to use Vision. Free Action and Vision will also be an important effects to keep on you at all times.

In all honesty, we have not added mares to any place they weren't already capable of spawning (except for Houses, we did add those). What's different is we now have a mare at nearly every spawn point in the City. How do you plan to reduce their population, thereby reducing the danger to dreamers young and old?

Have fun and be safe!
