Vagrant Whisperer

[Elmer]

He found himself in familiar surroundings, with empty pockets an empty rucksack and empty dreams. Walking directly to the Museum he saw the fountain remained, it made him smile.. as he turned he was surprised to see the tapestry, his creation, of all of his feathered, furred and finned friends. For a brief moment he considered walking to where the Menagerie used to be, but he knew there would be nothing left, so saved himself the inevitable anguish.

There was a glimmer, as he was greeted by old friends and comrades, and met a couple of new folks, as he listened to them he wondered what this future would bring...
