Holiday Preparation
I'm planning on taking a brief local holiday, staying in a hotel for a few nights to get away from kids and house stress, I've popped UL on my work laptop to take with me, but I'm loathe to reset all the keybindings and whatnot manually, anyone know offhand where the user settings are saved by default?

Re: Holiday Preparation
Sorry Echelon, I'm a Cisco network specialist, not a PC IT professional, a bit more information about how I can transfer the settings to the laptop please?

Re: Holiday Preparation
I apologize for the lack of clarity. I need to know the specific path and registry file so that my IT department can translocate it. We are not allowed registry access on computers with access to the company VPN

Re: Holiday Preparation
Hi Uthy,
Key bindings are located in the Windows registry under \Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Lyra. The best way to export/import the registry keys are:
1. Windows Start -> Run -> Type: 'regedit" and hit Enter
2. Locate the \Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Lyra path and right-click
3. Select "Export" from the menu and Save
See https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/GPZ6bmR.png
4. Transfer the file to another laptop after installing Underlight and double-click on the file
5. Accept the prompt for User Access Control and the prompt for Registry Editor add/delete values warning.
6. A successful import should result in "successfully added to registry".
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, and feel free to e-mail me directly using seeker@underlight.com.
