What do you guys think of playing UL on your smart phone/tablets?

Low bandwidth... Software rendered.... Hmmm I like it.

Wow... Bringing this game back brought my teenage years rushing back to memory. My first ever RPG.

Only if it's Kindle available I still have a flip phone, well I did...I washed it this week and I doubt it will work anymore. Anyway, or I have a blackberry.

Be kind of hard to fight in it on tablet or smartphone, eh? Be very interested to see...

Well, I know that Underlight is responsive to touchscreen as I have used it a few times on my desktop and laptop. And it works pretty nicely but never without a mouse or keyboard. I might have to master that if they are going down the mobile route.

I would absolutely love it if I could play on a tablet or even better a smartphone. During my mornings and early work hours I would catch the last few hours of the US evening events. And my boss would chop my head off. But what can you do?

I'll have to agree with Flagg here on the all but impossible wagon. At least if you're wanting the original client to be ported. The original was written for DirectX 5 (I think it was 5. Don't remember. Too lazy to look it up right now.) DirectX is Windows only though I recall in the past someone trying to get it to work under linux via some WINE+DX libraries emulation with very limited (READ: most of the things didn't work, game was basically unplayable) success. If you want a mobile client, it would be better to just write a new one.
