We understand there have been some questions and confusion lately. Think back to your first entrance into Lyra or SoT. Things were a mystery then, how we discovered the world IC. We've provided many different IC/OOC/Announcements information. Stories of The Kingdom, Thornhaven, and Percival to give you a taste of what's to come.
The idea behind Thornhaven is to refresh the game's dynamic. Change the traditional way of playing the game to give us something new and different. We've set the stage of Thornhaven with the Kingdom as the central back story of the city. They once had power over everything but has since lost control and only maintain keys to the stronghold. With main roleplay arcs involving elementals. Individual lead GM roleplays that may last 1 night up to a couple of weeks. The houses pushing their own agenda and stories and giving players plenty of prompts to roleplay off of.
In the upcoming patch, players will have the opportunity to establish their own houses, guilds, your own groups. The timeline of opening these things will vary and depend. Hoping that players really roleplay this out. Possibly finding out what happened, how to find their way back to their old city, etc. So much roleplay possibly and it doesn't have to be rushed.
This is a chance for us to embrace new things, change things drastically, and dive into something you wouldn't normally.
