The Longest Night - A Bardic Gathering

The nights grow ever-longer, towards the Longest Night. I wish to invite you all to a celebration of the Winter Solstice, the Longest Night of the Year.

I will be hosting a Bardic gathering on December 20th, at 7pm DST. We will gather where the Bards like to gather, Sanctuary in Lambert Flats.

I will post a Notice as time gets nearer, but I wanted to put out an advance notice to all. I would like to try something new this year. I would like anyone interested to put together a piece to share at the gathering. The only restriction is that the piece must be less than 200 words. We Bards tend to ramble, and we can't have that!

The topic is "The Longest Night of the Year".

What does that mean to you? Do you create a parable or story about this? A poem? You could write a song or jingle. You could conceivably bring in presents for us all and pass them out. In 200 words or less, tell us what the Longest Night means to you and your Dreams!

There will be a prize!

Those in attendance on the 20th will vote for the most creative piece!

So get your rhymes out and ink your quills!
