Guide to Having an Apprentice

Post by Magnum425 »

This guide to having an Apprentice is meant to assit in taking some of the stresses away for both the teacher and the aspiring teacher, To start with, Teachers take it easy on your apprentice, this is all new to them, as it once was to you. There is alot to take in, Apprentices, make sure to always take notes as some of the things you will learn will run together and also be useable in other aspects of dreaming. Also communication is key with both sides, teachers dont get frustrated if you apprentice. Doesn't pick up on everything the first go, the art of coming up with golden quests is tedious and takes time to master, and be open minded in their style, just because it isn't worded exactly like you would word it doesn't mean its wrong or bad but also don't let the apprentice get to lax and become sloppy, there needs to be a mutual respect. treat each other like you would like to be treated also use this philosophy when writing your quests to dreamers, don't make someone do, something you wouldn't do. Its ok to push someone's limits but never purposely push them beyond what they are capable of, and then get upset because they failed, try to always allow in your quests for unknown or unexpected outcomes, Most times the effort put forth is more important than the actual completion of a specific thing, Lastly always remember no one knows everything, and always be open to learn. Knowledge is power !
