Off Kilter;

It is not time for us to tell you more than what is included here. We know you will understand. We thank you. We write this to you because as Vanezera, it is vital that the legacy of the Dreamwalkers be understood. There are dreamers whose origins are Idoaclesian and allegedly connected to the Dreamwalkers but we will tell you honestly that their claims are misleading. We ask that you not consider the Priesthood and the role of Vanezera connected to the corrupt ways practised by those who came to be cast out. If you desire to know their story, they will have to expose themselves to you. We tell you now that their words will be as cool as silver but poison the truth as if they were mercury.

I will start at the end; the end of Idoaclesia.

We used the perfected and empowered Apnea Spheres to seal off entire planes of Idoaclesia before the great Nothing could devour them. Midnight Sun had given all she could to fortify the In-Between and did try to fight the Nothing from within. It saw her; she failed. We did not fail, not entirely.

We were without form. We knew this was how it needed to be. The knowledge of the Fortified Form was not knowledge that could be passed on as other gifts were passed on. We were drawn deep into the Lower Palisade. It was in this place that we were reunited with one of the lost priests of our path. When the elders of our order failed to maintain the Fortified Form and fell victim to the Chaos they encountered during travels they would be secured within the depths of the Palisade. We were taught that to begin our path leading to the Fortified Form; we must learn to master the Apnea Spheres. We sacrificed emotion itself into each corresponding Apnea Sphere. When we mastered the Gift, the Priest had restored the path of Vanezera. It became our burden to Walk.

Gaest is dead. He spoke at length with the lost Walkers and was convinced that his sacrifice would be needed to help us become who we needed to be. We did not understand. We are a superstitious gypsy content to work with Pazin Nalis and grow a relationship with the Elementals of Idoaclesia. Gaest believed otherwise. His was the greatest love.

Our sign begins as a circle; our path is ongoing. It encompasses all. We surround all, and we watch. Our symbol is the Waning Crescent; it opens facing east and is within the circle. It is the mark of the D'Angeline; we are D'Angeline. It is the mark of the moon; we are the moon. We are Vanezera. We are Dreamwalker.

We add a single star at the lower point of the Crescent; this star is for Gaest. The star is for Cesca Vanezera. The star is for Vagabond. The star is for Pazin Nalis. The star is for Midnight Sun.

The star is for Idoaclesia.

There are many signs. This one is ours.
