MT's Unable to do Train Plats
Apparently Train plateau's can only be done by GM characters again?
The most important lesson I've learned over this past year, is not to let anyone make you cruel. No matter how badly you want to give the world a taste of it's own bitter medicine, it is never worth losing yourself.

Also issues with granting sphere's apparently. Both problems seem to be remedied by being in party with the target? Further testing required

Yes you will need to be in party to grant both of those, Train plateaus and Sphere.
