Bundle Tasks and Early Spheres
Re: Bundle Tasks and Early Spheres
The earlier Spheres (1, 2, 3) may be gained in a more streamlined, accesible way.
From now on, newly awakened and lower-Sphered characters may obtain a Sphere task at Orbit 0, 10, and 20. Obviously, they will require maximum experience by the time they turn it in and advance. As with ALL other Spheres, no set number of Plateaus is required to Sphere.
Sphere tasks for these levels can be eased quite a bit. Spheres 1 and 2 can be completed immediately if the character reasonably knows it (refrain from cross-over knowledge from your "main"; at least talk with another player about the topic). Below are some *examples* to demonstrate the difficulty that is expected/acceptable:
Sphere 1: The goal is to demonstrate understanding of the more basic functions in the Dream.
Obtain a codex from a Teacher verifying that the character understands his/her focus as well as the others and their common roles in the game.
Describe the five different types of mares and what their strengths and weaknesses are.
Obtain one of each talisman type that spawns at a generator: explain what each does, when they would be used, etc.
Sphere 2: Demonstrate knowledge that would have been gained from interacting with others.
Interview with the Sphering Teacher to explain the beliefs of every faction and why character did or did not join each.
Describe a time you participated in a battle against other dreamers, Elders, or Darkmares...how did it go? Were you able to contribute? Why were people fighting and where do you stand?
Sphere 3: Actively participate in a LARGE-scale RP event (Large meaning multiple dreamers towards a specific goal, not necesarily "Dream changing".)
Removing mares, making new art, making a vault, forging new item type, opening X focus guild, assisting faction in doing Y, etc.
Sphere 4: LEAD a Large-scale RP event and involve others.
Examples from above
Again, to reiterate, these are examples and it is not at all expected/required that you copy them.
