On Sunday August the 12th between 9:00am and 12:00 noon, the game server will be offline for the 3.1.7.1 patch thanks to our wonderful developers and testers!! -- also note that you may experience the forums down for a small duration as well. I plan on doing other server updates and restarts at this time.

Patch notes to look forward to:

* Bug fix: invis player emotes are no longer visible
* Meditation/Poison: While meditating you don't get damaged by poison, and you chip away at 30 seconds*MeditationPlat of Poison per tick.
* Client can now run in windowed mode and optionally in fullscreen
* Bug fix: transmuting chaos wells no longer makes them immutable
* Add single-line chat input and slash commands, along with tab-completion. Remove "classic" talk dialog.
* Add customizable whisper color
* Whispers will now cause UL icon to flash in taskbar when not focused
* Add Pmare time remaining in XP output
* Add ping slash command
* Bug fix: invisibility no longer sticks on pmares/players
* Dreamwide alert now sent when a "true" newly logs in
* Reduced area on damaging ornaments
* Other changes not relevant to player client

Currently in patching phase: 3 hours (since 9:15am ET)

Due to what looks like the prior exp bug resurfacing on 3.1.7, we have reverted back to 3.1.6.2 for the time being while we research why this happened. We have a lead on it, once we have more information we’ll update the community.

Sorry for the incovinence!

- Update from the Developers: We have isolated the issue to be related to xp gain at a specific orbits and plan to fix it via a hotfix this week. Once fixed, I'll set a new patch day to release 3.1.7.1.
