Speaking in "maren"

Postby Elmer » Mon Jan 29, 2018 4:42 pm

I and my character are slowly being taught "maren" in game. I'm not cheating and looking up any dictionaries and just learning by listening, repeating and memorizing, it's been pretty challenging,

i was just wondering, who actually created this language in the first place? and to have it stick for i guess decades. Whoever you are, you are a genius. on a side note, i am getting so i can decipher most of what mares are saying in what i've been told is the "old" maren, then in comes Picco and it is something completely different. hahah. gonna take awhile, but it's been a lot of fun.

The original maren that we use today was created by the Lyra GMs around the time their game opened. Extra words have been added by other GMs and players as time has gone along. :)
