Recent City Guard Posts

Postby Golah » Mon Oct 16, 2017 9:05 am

A day or so ago I made a post responding to various guard posts recently posted, it was a valid IC response, and questions were posed, that post has been removed, and there has been no contact, or information given to me as to the validity behind its removal. I am at a loss for words here to truly fit how I feel about this, I see no valid IC or OOC reason for that post to have been removed, and I see it both as a clear breach of trust in the community, and a stout show of favoritism by someone, or someones, please offer a valid reason as to why that post was removed.

Favoritism!!!! lol

It's probably because it was a reply to the other city guard posts. You aren't supposed to reply in the Notices forums. There's a link somewhere about it but it's been posted so many times I can't even be bothered to look for it for you right now, should be no problem for you to find.

-k

Screw it, I did hunt it down for you.

Interesting, If that is the case I see responses that are still there in the same section, relating to other posts, so, if its truly a rule it should be blanket across all posts in that section, to be fair to all players, otherwise it looks very one sided. Tembers and Nunyas posts to one another and responses would fall under that same rule, so again I am a bit concerned with whats occurred.

My response as a Leader of a House to the City Guards, I use the term plural because ICly it appears to be 2 groups of guards, is a valid IC response not a continuation of a post, and should of remained in tact as the other posts have, that I have given example too. Additionally, the post could of been moved as I have seen most posts done, and instead was completely removed, which further adds to the why, having a copy of my post and re-reading the post, it did not fall under the rules you stated. As that rule is written that is.

If it's two groups of guards posting their charters/beliefs/whatever you want to call it then how are they responses to each other? You can always post your response in your house forums, I don't see why a gm needs to move your post for you you are capable. Stop whining, this is why I basically stopped playing ul because everything everyone does that another doesn't agree with has become an ooc issue of favoritism or crossover. Things can't just happen because it was worked for, planned out, or just happened to fall into place. There is clearly a us vs them mentality ic and ooc and it's made it no fun to play in my opinion. And of course I know a response to this is going to be oh the ones that play have fun, yeah cause you've run everyone off that doesn't think like you.
